Drug addiction is a serious and pervasive problem in any society. Also, drug abuse is a negative societal trend that is required to be eliminated by way of psychological, physical and mental well being of the abuser.

Drug addiction has devastating effects on the addict’s health, lifestyle, financial position and society. Negative consequence of drug abuse not only effects individuals but also their families, friends and employers. An addict having no sound health, lacking well-being is indeed a burden on government resources that poses serious problems to the society directly or indirectly in different ways. It is, therefore, necessary to make society drug free using different means ensuring healthier communities.

1. Awareness about the damages of addiction in society especially in youth so that they may not be attracted to it for any reason.
2. Motivation of addicts’ through session, seminars and lectures for drug cessation.
3. Guidance and help in treatment.
4. Post cure follow up sessions. Group discussion with family and friends for post treatment therapy.
